Submit a Strain

Before you start you will need to know the following:

Animal Ethics code the strain is covered by.
NLRD license number covering this strain. Some strains, for example those carrying genetic modifications induced by chemical or radiation treatment, are exempt from requiring an NLRD license. If your strain is exempt please enter N/A to the text box.
If the strain was obtained from someone else you will need to provide the researcher's name and email address.
Complete and signed Material Transfer Agreement (MTA) must be in place before cryopreservation will be performed for non-ANU researchers. [Download MTA Template]

Create a Strain from scratch.

Create a Strain using details from existing strain.

If the strains are similar, then this will save time by pre-populating many of the details with the same data.

Has the investigator submitted a Strain before?
